NEW ROUTES

Recording New Routes The Climbers' Club holds the comprehensive record of climbs over a large area of England and Wales. New climbs, buttresses and sometimes crags continue to be discovered. It is imperative that all such developments are recorded or they may well be forgotten only to be rediscovered and reclaimed some time later by other climbers.

As we produce guidebooks to the Bristol Area & Wye Valley, South East England, South West England, Pembroke and most of North Wales the logical place to record new routes in these areas is on this website. When you record a new route on this site it will be transferred into a database of climbs and also published on the website new routes section. Future guidebook writers will be using the database of routes so they will know about your discovery.
